Legal Tip: Medical Expense Benefit

Generally speaking, in Virginia, medical expense benefit (an inexpensive addition to your auto insurance) can make a big difference if you are in an automobile or car accident.  This insurance can pay your medical bills if you don't have health insurance.  If you do have health insurance, it can give you extra money in your pocket.  Don't assume you have it just because you have "full coverage."  Ask specifically for it.

As usual, there are always exceptions to every situation.  Consult with a Charlottesville attorney for full details.
